Through my extensive work just in post-op lymphatic massage I had made recovery less painful & faster for SO many amazing people! But....
Seeing client after client relentlessly smother on scar gel in attempt to get rid of their scar tissue after surgery really bothered me! This lead me to the world of scar removal.
Many of my clients did not like the idea of very high costs, risks, or the replacing a scar with a scar with options like scar revision surgery or laser treatment for scars. Microneedling proved to be cost effective, produced results, and is non-invasive, but I wanted something more. I always strive to provide the best of THE BEST for my clients. My search lead me to stem cell therapeutics, the same science in the regenerative medicine (regen med) field!
Mesenchymal stem cells, with their ability to renew cell function and their key role in tissue repair as well as exosomes & their ability to improve cellular communication made their way into both my practice! Some have shown stem cells to be 100x more effective than PRP(platelet rich plasma) popularized by the Kardasians & the vampire facial. While exosomes have been shown to be 3x more effective than stem cells but do work in a different way, so why not use both?!
Armed with THE BEST scar treatment, I was able to help my amazing lymphatic massage clients so much more! I also gained the ability to positively impact other deserving communities through the treatment mastectomy scars on cancer survivors, burn scars on burn survivors, top surgery scars from gender affirming procedures, belly stretch marks from pregnancy and those with keloids.
Knowing the regenerative power of the bone marrow derived cells, I moved into a treatment close to home, stem cells for hair loss. As someone with aggressive androgenic alopecia (male pattern baldness) and a very receding hairline I have a first hand experience of the frustration felt by those with alopecia areata (spot baldness), those with female pattern baldness, those experiencing hair thinning and just how life changing hair loss treatment can be.
With my initial goal in founding BODYWERQ of helping people heal while empowering everyBODY to feel confident, I now do so in many ways for many different types of people.
